1. What Cake Directory TT Does

Cake Directory TT is an online directory that helps customers discover bakers and helps bakers connect with suppliers in Trinidad and Tobago.

We provide a platform for businesses to showcase their products, services and contact information.

We do not directly provide the products or services advertised by listed businesses and are not responsible for transactions or arrangements made between customers and businesses.

2. Your Business Listing

When registering a business, you agree to provide accurate, up-to-date information.

You are responsible for maintaining your business details, ensuring your photographs and descriptions are appropriate, and having permission to use the content you upload.

Cake Directory TT may review, edit, reject, hide or remove listings containing misleading, inappropriate or otherwise unsuitable content.

3. Your Photos, Content and Promotional Use

Your content remains yours.

When you upload photographs, videos, logos, business descriptions or other content, you retain ownership of that content.

By uploading or submitting content for public display, you grant Cake Directory TT a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to use, reproduce, display, share, resize, crop and adapt that content for purposes connected to operating, showcasing and promoting the platform and its listed businesses.

This includes:

• The Cake Directory TT website, directory and featured business sections.
• Social media posts, stories and promotional videos.
• Digital advertisements, posters and marketing materials.
• Business spotlights, promotional campaigns and community features.

We may include your business name, location, logo and other publicly available business details alongside your content.

Cake Directory TT does not need to request separate permission each time it features or promotes content you have made publicly available through the platform.

This permission does not transfer ownership of your content to Cake Directory TT. You may continue using it elsewhere, and no payment is owed for promotional use covered by this agreement.

Service providers working on our behalf may use the content where necessary to create, publish or distribute these promotions.

We will make reasonable efforts to represent your business fairly and will not knowingly present your work as belonging to another business.

You may contact us with concerns about how your content is being used.

If you remove content or close your account, we will stop using that content in new promotional materials within a reasonable period. Materials already published, printed or shared may remain in circulation.

4. Respecting Other People's Work

Only upload content you own or have permission to use.

This includes photographs taken by professional photographers, images obtained online and content featuring another person's work.

We may remove content while credible ownership or copyright complaints are investigated.

5. Business Information and Location Privacy

Some businesses operate from home and may not wish to disclose their exact location.

Cake Directory TT provides options for controlling public location visibility.

Where a business chooses not to reveal its precise location, the platform may display an approximate area instead.

Businesses are responsible for choosing which contact details and other information they make publicly available.

6. Customers and Business Transactions

Cake Directory TT helps people discover and contact businesses.

We do not guarantee the quality, availability, pricing, delivery or fulfilment of advertised products or services.

Orders, payments, refunds, deliveries and disagreements are generally matters between customers and the businesses involved.

Customers should confirm important details directly with businesses before making payments.

7. Keeping the Directory Safe and Useful

Users must not:

• Publish false or intentionally misleading information.
• Upload stolen, offensive, unlawful or inappropriate content.
• Impersonate another person or business.
• Interfere with website operations or collect information through unauthorised automated methods.
• Use the platform to scam, harass or deceive others.

Cake Directory TT may investigate complaints and restrict, suspend or remove accounts or content where necessary.

8. Free and Paid Features

Some features are available free of charge, while others may be paid or promotional services.
